Bulldogs are known for their distinctive wrinkled faces and stocky, muscular builds, but there's much more to these lovable dogs than their appearance. Despite their tough exterior, they are known for their gentle and affectionate nature, making them great companions, especially for families. Bulldogs are also surprisingly agile for their size and can be quite playful. Interestingly, their short noses give them a unique snoring habit, and they can sometimes struggle in hot weather due to their brachycephalic (flat) faces. Originally bred for bull-baiting in medieval England, today's Bulldogs are far removed from their aggressive origins, now known for their loyalty, calm demeanor, and even a bit of stubbornness.
